The campus app for Kirinyaga University comrades
Comrade Connect brings the things comrades already do every day into one place: talking about campus life, buying and selling, finding a room, and finding people to study with. It opens in your phone browser, so there is nothing to download.
What you can do
Feed. Post and read campus stories without your name on them. Filter by zone and category.
Market. Buy and sell items between comrades. Admins check every listing, and the buyer's money is held in escrow until the item is handed over.
Hearts. A separate 18+ space for meeting people, with private chats that open only after a match.
Roommates, study groups and hostel reviews. Find a room or a roommate, join a study group, and read what other comrades say about hostels and zones.
Club shop and event tickets. Buy club items and tickets to campus events, with a code checked at the door.
How it keeps people safe
- Messages between people are anonymous, and phone numbers and links are blocked.
- Comrades can mute, block and report any message, post or clip.
- Marketplace listings are approved by an admin before anyone can see them.
- Payments go through the escrow flow, so money is released only after the buyer confirms.
Common questions
Is Comrade Connect free? Using the app is free. The marketplace takes a small fee from each sale, shown before you confirm.
